About Me
I grew up in the Comox
Valley and am now raising my own family in this
fantastic community. I am fortunate to call the
North Island my home.
My business background
comes from the Banking sector where I spent a great
deal of time working with clients one on one, to
help them work towards their own retirement or their
children’s education. My Educational background
includes a Bachelor of Commerce from U.B.C. As
well, I have completed the Canadian Securities
Course and the Professional Financial Planning
Course (both with Honours), as administered by the
national Canadian Securities Institute.
Outside of work, I
volunteer as the treasurer for the local 1st Tsolum
Scouts. I am a member of the Comox Valley Chamber of
Commerce, and am also involved in local recreational
Hockey. My daughter is a cub scout and member of her
school’s “Random Acts of Kindness” Club. My spouse
is also an active volunteer and involved in
community services. Our philosophy as a family is to
give back more than to receive and leave the world
in better shape than you found it.
